1st Recital: D Major Scale

Here it is, my very first video! Eek! I know it’s a little rough and my bow is all over the place, but I’m posting it anyway so I’ll be able to look back at how far I’ve come. 

For context, I’ve had my cello for one month and have been practicing on my own with a lesson book and YouTube videos, but a week ago I signed up for a video course called Cello in 30 Days by Billy Tobenkin at adultcello.com. He’s awesome and I’ve learned a lot in a week. 

Cello is challenging but I’m having fun and someday I’ll be able to make beautiful music.
